Meet Our Founder

Hello Beauties, I'm Allison Dowdy, a retired radiologic technologist with a passion for truly clean skincare and healthy living. In 2004 I married my soul mate, Dr. Paul Alan Dowdy, in Orlando, where we established our home and family, raising 4 beautiful children.

My husband and I worked together in his orthopedic practice of 21 years, until Paul sustained life-altering injuries following a tragic cycling accident in January of 2018, resulting in his retirement. On our personal quest for healing, we sought effective solutions to enhance health and recovery. This led Paul to discover and introduce me to Astaxanthin, a powerful antioxidant known for its remarkable benefits in skin health and overall wellness. Our research revealed that Astaxanthin, when combined with nourishing oils like Marula Oil, could significantly improve skin hydration, reduce the appearance of wrinkles, and promote a radiant complexion. Thus, X Organic Beauty was born and we put Paul's chemistry degree and medical knowledge to work.
